Fits through 1" diameter hole and is adjustable in length from 6" to 9". This helps promote healthier chicks and to prevent losses, set brooder temperatures at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and lower temperature by 5 degrees each week to wean chicks off their dependency of supplemental heat. This thermometer is most compatible in the 0427 Brooder.
